Brought to you by our partner Hauff Technik is the most durable and flexible conduit on the market. If you’re looking for an innovative product that is going to save time and labour on projects then Hateflex conduit could be the perfect solution. Hateflex is ideal for small and large projects where you are working with tight angles that may require additional work of cutting and gluing bends and sweeps together. Not only is it flexible and easy to manipulate but it also allows for movement in the earth and building that may occur. When excavating PVC conduit tends to crack quite easily which can cause additional rectification work. In comparison Hateflex has an extremely high mechanical load capacity making it inherently stable and non-buckling. Hateflex is available in sizes 150mm and 90mm. When working with 150mm at a length of 1.8 metres you can create a 90 degree bend and when working with 90mm you can achieve this at 1.2 metres.

Some more Key features include:

  • Compatible with Hauff Technik water tight entry systems

  • Joins to Stannard fixed type conduit with adaptor

  • Smooth inner surface for gentle cable draw in

  • Abrasion resistant, weatherproof and UV resistant

  • Completely gas tight and watertight to 2.5 bar pressure

  • Same Strength as HD Conduit

Power Utilities and projects Hateflex has been used on:

  • CitiPower, Melbourne Square, Southbank

  • Energy Queensland, University of Queensland

  • Energex, Brisbane Airport/Lomandra Substation

  • Essential Energy, Bathurst

  • Western Power, Elizabeth Quay

  • Brisbane, Mercedes Benz

Surge Arresters are an essential component for increasing the reliability of the electricity network as they serve as the primary protection against overvoltage's, whether they're atmospheric and or caused by switching. MV Technology Solutions are the exclusive partner for Siemens Energy Arresters Portfolio for all MV and HV Surge Arresters in the Australian Market.

When selecting a Surge Arrester, there are several options and considerations, but the basic requirements of a Surge Arrester still remain the same;

  • The Surge Arrester should provide adequate protection with a sufficient safety margin, which means that overvoltage's at the device to be protected must always remain below its withstand voltage

  • The Surge Arrester should be dimensioned for stable continuous operation, which means that the arrester must remain electrically and thermally stable under all conditions while handling all long-term, temporary, and transient stress resulting from network operation.

It is important to remember that these two requirements cannot be fulfilled independently. A reduction of the protective level automatically means a higher degree of specific electrical stress during continuous operation, and equally, the continuous operating voltage of an arrester cannot be increased arbitrarily without raising its protective level as well.

1 Week to go until the C2K Bike Ride

MV Technology Solutions is proud to sponsor this fantastic event that sees riders transverse North Queensland over 780km over 7 days, to raise funds to support children who live in the remote rural areas of the region.

The Cairns to Karumba Bike Ride began through the Cairns School of Distance Education P&C Association in 1996/97. Today, beneficiaries include Cairns School of Distance Education, State primary schools – including Mt Garnet, Mt Surprise, Georgetown, Croydon, Normanton and Karumba as well as child care centres, sports associations and more.

Get behind this great event and show your support https://c2kbikeride.com.au/1-ride-overview/donate-to-the-charity/

We would also like to wish all riders the best of luck and thank them for getting behind such a great event.
